COVID-19 Operations Update at Spencer Park

  • Lifeguarded beach is open. Beach capacity is limited to 100 people at a time and is strictly monitored. Swim and beach area is for water use or child supervision only. No sunbathing, picnicking or groups on sand area. Four hundred (400) people maximum allowed in the park, first come, first served.
  • Regular vehicle entry fees are in effect. 
  • Modern restrooms and drinking fountains are open and cleaned 3 times a day. Playground is open.


We encourage folks to come out and spread out. Please remain at least 6 feet away from anyone not in your household/group. Masks are recommended in bathrooms.

Swimming & Services
End of the Season Schedule
  • August 17th: Watercraft Rental services will be closed for the season
  • August 22nd: Concessions services will be closed for the season
  • Starting August 24th, swimming hours will be 11 am to 6 pm for the remainder of the season
  • Swimming and the beach will be closed Monday, August 31st through Friday, September 4th but will reopen for the 3- day Labor Day weekend
  • Last day for swimming – Labor Day Monday, September 7th

  • No flotation devices permitted in the swim area                
  • No swimming allowed without lifeguard on stand   
  • No metal detecting on sports fields
