Responsibilities as a Youth Representative
Attend and actively participate at a City Council monthly meeting
Attend City Council Technical Review Committees on an as-needed basis
Participate in the completion of various projects chosen by the Youth Council
Serve as youth ambassadors for the City of Rochester Hills
Participate in community engagement and volunteer opportunities with your peers.
In addition to service on the Youth Council, the Rochester Hills City Council has established youth representative positions on each of the following committees:
Cemetery Citizen Advisory Committee
Citizens Pathway Review Committee
Deer Management Advisory Committee
Green Space Advisory Board
Human Resources Technical Review Committee
Liquor License Review Committee
Public Safety and Infrastructure
Water and Sewer Technical Review Committee
Youth Council members are required to attend these committee meetings, scheduled on an as-needed basis.
